This is the most popular method of binding using round plastic spines through rectangular punched holes in the paper. Comb binding spines tend to be less rigid than wire spines so are suited to documents that have 200 sheets of standard 80gsm paper. Plastic comb binding is inexpensive and can accommodate a large array of document sizes, but won’t stand up to rough use. As the document pages are not permanently sealed in, adding or taking away pages is easy to do.
